About Cliffside Park, NJ Real Estate Market

Located in Bergen County in the state of New Jersey, Cliffside Park is a town that was founded in a referendum held in 1895. Cliffside Park was formed by joining the portions of Ridgefield Township and is currently home to more than 24,000 people right now. It is a part of the 26 boroughs formed during the Boroughitis phenomenon, which occurred in 1895.

Cliffside Park derives its name from its location, which means a park surrounded by cliffs. The central part of this town is this park, which is named Palisades Amusement Park. Spread over an area of 38-acres, this amusement park was in existence between 1898 and 1971. After 1971, the amusement park shut down with removals of rides and attractions. Post that, the park was replaced by tall apartment buildings, including many homes for sale in this town of New Jersey, making it a more prominent residential place and a chief addition in the New Jersey real estate.

Other well-known locations of Cliffside Park include Trinity Episcopal Church and the Roman Catholic Church of Epiphany, apart from small parks and gardens. Most of the residents of Cliffside Park are retirees and young professionals who are using their homes as rental places. The overall town has several coffee shops, parks and small restaurants, with decent levels of education and transportation facilities.
